About Us

The Appalachian Liberation Library is a free lending library and reading room in Johnson City, Tennessee. The library came out of the Northeast TN People’s Movement in 2017 and now operates as entirely its own project.

We are a family-friendly, entirely volunteer-run, donation-funded space.
