Workers Support Meeting

February 19 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm

What’s going on in your work place? How is work affecting your life? Come meet, share, and hear about others’ experiences and discuss ways we can improve situations and conditions. This is also a chance to check out our new space if you haven’t already. (It’s not particularly attractive—yet—but it’s serviceable, and we’re working on it.)

Free coffee and hot tea provided.

The Workers Alliance educates workers on their rights and provide guidance and training on workplace and solidarity organizing. We also organize wider campaigns on issues that impact workers: healthcare, childcare, housing, etc.

Our meetings are open to workers, students, retirees, the unemployed, the self-empoyed, independent contractors, gig workers, those on disability, and those who do unpaid labor, such as caretaking. To protect those attending, we bar owners of businesses with employees and managers with hiring & firing power from the meetings.
